Designed to maximise learning, it equips its participants with the essential skills to navigate the evolving landscape of supply chains and future innovations.
Why This Theme?
As the world rapidly changes, so too do supply chains, evolving into sophisticated networks driven by innovation. Traditional models are being transformed by cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, and robotics, which enhance efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness.
Looking ahead, the future of supply chains will balance global reach with local agility, driven by the need for rapid adaptation and personalisation. Companies that embrace these innovations will not only overcome future challenges but also gain a competitive edge in a fast-evolving market.
In essence, the intersection of supply chains and future innovation represents a pivotal shift towards smarter, more sustainable, and agile systems that will redefine business operations and global trade.
Understanding the link between supply chains and future innovation is crucial for both current and future leaders. In this one-week program, participants will explore a practical approach to supply chain management, equipping them with the insights and skills needed to lead organizations effectively in a rapidly changing business landscape. This knowledge will ensure they can drive resilience and maintain a competitive edge in the face of evolving challenges.
Program Description
The program is designed to offer a week of dynamic and diverse experiences at Cranfield School of Management, centered around the theme of ‘Supply Chains and Future Innovation.’ The carefully curated timetable integrates lectures, simulations, corporate visits, and social events, both on the Cranfield campus and in the vibrant city of London.
The Experience
My overall experience was eye-opening. It was a great opportunity to learn from the professionals within the Supply Chain & Logistics industry.
The simulation games in particular were very helpful in understanding what goes on in the real world of SCM. Also, everybody really enjoyed the role-playing game. So, in essence, the participants enjoyed the “experience”.
Excellent quality of all the lectures in Cranfield and a couple of simulations that were absolutely great.
