A description of the program
The program offers a well-rounded experience for students, combining lectures, company visits related to the lecture topics, and cultural activities. The lectures provide students with the necessary context and knowledge to understand the companies they will be visiting, enhancing their learning experience and allowing them to make meaningful connections between theory and practice.
The Experience
It showcased the country, the problems etc, but for South Africans, it also showed a different approach to the same problems we have.
Peru is a country far away from Japan, both in distance and spirit, and is not easily on the list of countries for Japanese to visit. I am very glad that I had this opportunity to visit.
Unlike studying a country in books or on the web, I was able to realize the good qualities and challenges of the country, which can be understood by actually visiting the country and experiencing its atmosphere.
The Program
Planning and execution are very important. You can plan and talk but, in the end, it is how you execute the plan that will make you successful.
The difference between Peru and South Africa is the approach to the problems. We have exactly the same issues, but the passion and attitude in Peru are noteworthy. Peru has come a long way and made major progress.
The ability to work with others cross-culturally in a team and new sustainability in agriculture.
