The International Module at ESAN Business School

Peru is well known for its history and natural beauty. It is home to one of the seven world wonders, Machu Picchu, as well as one of the most breathtaking mountain ranges in the world. As a result of both its archeological and natural marvels, Peru attracts over 3 million tourists a year. Peru cannot be defined merely by its natural beauty, it is also one of the fastest growing economies on the continent, Peru’s economy has steadily grown over the last 12 years, a trend which is expected to continue. Furthermore, the stability of the country’s market-oriented and investment-friendly policies are conducive to business, for both nationals and foreigners. During our program, we will tell you the story of four of our stronger economic activities: mining, agriculture, agro-industry and gastronomy; how they are linked and their business perspective on becoming the four pillars in our sustainable and innovative growth.

Beginning with the two ancient economic activities: mining and agriculture, we will show you how these two activities coexist due to our prodigious ecosystem. You will learn from our national experts and business leaders, who are also our graduates, as they explain this great transformational phenomenon and the perspectives for the following years. We will continue with an overview of our agroindustry and the exporting power of Peru as a country known worldwide for its Super Foods, and exotic fruits. We will finish the program with our great passion for gastronomy and the social phenomenon that it represents in the identity of all Peruvians. You will witness our country secret and diversity, our evolution towards a technological and sustainable path and our transition towards the generation of value worldwide.
