ESAN was founded on July 25, 1963 as part of an agreement between the governments of the United States and Peru. Its launch and implementation was entrusted to the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, becoming the first graduate business school in the Spanish-speaking world.
Building on 60 years of academic excellence, ESAN Graduate School of Business offers DBAs and MBAs and 16 Specialized Master’s Degrees, as well as open and customized Executive Education programs.
Since its inception, ESAN has been considered one of the best schools in Latin America. It is currently ranked #1 in Peru and #7 in Latin America in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2024 and the best business school in Peru according to the XXI Annual Survey of Executives of the Chamber of Commerce – Lima 2023. ESAN also holds international accreditations such as AACSB, AMBA and BGA; international memberships EFMD, NIBES, CLADEA, PIM, PRME and UNICON.
