Bologna Business School (BBS) is the international business school of the University of Bologna. Through an educational model that combines management skills with an interdisciplinary approach, BBS exists to develop a new generation of leaders by developing pathways that allow them to actively design their own futures.
The University of Bologna is the world’s oldest university, founded in 1088, and it has always been a public, independent, and pluralistic institution, created by students for students, from all over Europe.
Bologna Business School was founded in 2000 as an initiative of four Departments of the University (Management, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Communication Science) as a post-graduate and post-experience interdisciplinary school of business management. Now, BBS is one of the leading business schools in Europe.
The school was awarded EQUIS accreditation in 2021, an accolade held by just 5% of business schools worldwide. About 3,500 people, including recent graduates, managers and entrepreneurs from about 50 countries around the world, take part in BBS courses each year. BBS offers Professional Masters, MBAs, Executive MBAs, Executive Programs, and Customized Programs, designed and developed in partnership with companies.
Bologna University Business School stands as one of the University’s most vibrant and fastest growing institutions. While the University of Bologna is rooted in a millennium of history, BBS prides itself as a school for the new millennium.
