International Week

The role of business sectors and entrepreneurs to realize a desirable future in 2050

Visionary in 2050 and Startup Ecosystem

The context for the theme (Why this theme?)

Under unprecedented shift of paradigm in terms of geopolitics, technologies and biology, we need both ultra long-term vision and ultra short-term agility and flexibility. That’s why we raise the theme this year: Visionary in 2050 and Startup Ecosystem

The program consists of four components:

  • Visionary workshop using Back-casting methodology to think over long-term horizon into the future.
  • A series of lectures/speeches by Japanese entrepreneurs to learn the importance of vision and agility.
  • A series of lectures to learn Japanese economy, society, and the way of thinking.
  • A cultural experience to understand the Japanese value system embedded in its business culture as well.
