From time to time, we bring together industry experts from around the world to focus on issues of global importance such as The Future of Work, Empowering Women in Management.
Virtual Global Weeks
During the COVID pandemic the Consortium arranged two virtual weeks.
In 2020 our theme was POST-PANDEMIC BUSINESS STRATEGIES – a global perspective. More than 500 participants from around the network enrolled. Over seven packed days, they were able to interact with 60 distinguished presenters in 15 countries on topics ranging from cyber-security to leadership in a pandemic and from digital transformation to corporate resilience. In addition, 40 teams of participants worked virtually with one another to provide innovative and creative solutions to real business issues experienced by a dozen different companies in three continents. Along the way they were able to explore the world of Russian ballet, enjoy a cookery masterclass from South Africa and travel on a virtual tour of the Florida Everglades.
In 2021 more than 700 participants signed up to our online program: RE-INVENTING BUSINESS – where, in addition to lectures and company presentations, they were able to collaborate on a variety of projects, compete in business simulations and share the experience of online safaris, Polish pierogies, Japanese tea ceremonies and even Zen meditation sessions.
We are planning more virtual conferences in the future.
