The Florida International University College of Business (FIU Business) prepares undergraduate and graduate business students to become real, impactful leaders in the global market.
The Florida International University College of Business (FIU Business) was founded in 1972. The graduate school was named formally in 2001 as the Chapman Graduate School of Business and the undergraduate school was named officially in 2004 as the Landon Undergraduate School of Business.
FIU Business has a diverse and specialized faculty of 150+ scholars and business leaders from 38 countries offering a wealth of research, teaching experience, and practical business expertise.
More than 20% of FIU Business’ 70,000 alumni own their own businesses. Some 70% work in Florida, in organizations that collectively represent a significant part of the state’s economy, and many work for international or multinational firms.
The College of Business is among the 5% of elite business schools worldwide accredited by the AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The College also receives high marks for its undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as faculty research productivity, by influential rankings organizations worldwide.
